Improvements and additions at the Discovery Center 

Project: Discovery Center Auditorium Acoustic Improvement

Description:The Discovery Center at Binghamton just recently opened a new building addition. An auditorium is included in the new building. Unfortunately the acoustics are terrible and the echoes tend to detract from any of the well done presentations. Local senior Elfuns have offered to apply acoustical materials to the exposed roof trusses.

Rural Ministry Project- David Hogan  (723-9740)

Repairs and improvements to elderly and handicapped housing in Tioga County. This is a joint project with Tioga Rural Ministries. 

Description:Home repair, wheel chair ramp construction for disabled and/or elderly people in Tioga County, NY. All requests for ramps or home repair come from the office of Tioga County Rural Ministries and is done with their approval. This is a continuing project.

MacArthur School Mentoring- Gerald Graham (723-7895)

Volunteers are needed to support mentoring of students.

Camp Tuscarora  Project- Fred Neebe (785-4811)

The Tuscarora project needs volunteers to help with completing Phase III of the training center. The activities are: installing showers and plumbing, installing ceiling in two bathrooms, seal and paint walls/floors, and wire electric water heater/stove outlets.
